I do not know the answer, or even where to start looking.
Does anyone know what the longest ___ down and ___ yards to go, ever converted? |

The longest down in NFL history was in the game between the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears on Sept. 17, 2006. After jumping offsides 3 plays in a row, the lions were then penalized 4 times consecutively for holding resulting in an amazing 2nd down and 65.
They didn't convert. The longest 4th down ever converted in the NFL was a 4th and 35, Indianapolis vs. Houston, December 1, 2002. The longest 3rd down conversion I believe was 3rd and 37 by the Broncos...but not sure what game or year this was. I got this stuff googling 'longest conversion in nfl history'
