Default Bear fans at home game annoy me for being stupid!.

This is a problem with Bear fans that started a couple of years ago and just seems to be getting worse. Bear fans have an awful tendency to cheer hard and make tons of noise when the Bears offense is in the red zone, making it very hard for Cutler to yell out calls and audibles. We all know this behavior is the right thing to do when the other team is in the red zone, but not when your team is in the red zone. I'm afraid this will cost the Bears a game in the future. The media makes mention of this, the team (especially Cutler) has made mention and begged the fans to tone it down a bit The Bears even have someone standing behind the endzone holding an orange construction sign saying "Please be quiet, Bears at work". Nothing seems to work.
Has this ever happened at any other stadium? This is crazy.

Bears fans, in general, annoy me
Vikings fan that I am....

I've not seen this in the pros, but back around 1990 when my Oregon Ducks were first getting teams winning enough to actually get to bowl games (after not being in one for decades) this was something of an issue....back then, anyway, the student section was near midfield so when they made noise, it didn't necessarily effect the team in the red zone. But there were a lot of young alums...that seemed to group together at one end of the field...and made enough noise that the PA announcer had to sometimes request they tone it down (which of course sometimes only made it worse)

These days, of course, Autzen is known as one of the loudest stadiums in college football...but I've never heard of THIS being an issue

LMAO!!!

Today at Bears practice they are piping in crowd noise. Jus tthink about this for a moment. The Bears who are playing at home have to have the offense practice for crowd noise. Sometimes I embarrassed to be a Chicago sports fan.

This is just weird for me. Fans will do what they want for sure. So I don't really know how to solve this sort of problem. Just be glad the Bears' don't play in a dome. Don't some Bears' fans know that the best places to sit are near the 50 yard line?
