So.....offseason, the Lakers hire Mike Brown...knowing he'd plan to install the Princeton offense...which has a high emphasis on great teamwork and a willingness to pass often...yeah, that works with Kobe on the team......but really? you know that going in and still only give it 5 games?
.....and now hire D'Antoni...whose offenses are usually more of an up and down the court fast paced offense relying on athleticism...yeah, that seems a good idea for one of the oldest teams in the league. ....and this after going after Phil Jackson, before supposedly deciding his triangle offense benefited Kobe and Gasol...but nobody else..........reality is it was more likely they didn't like the travel restrictions he wanted

I'm not adding this year to my age because I really didn't use it. Ever notice that extra fries and exercise sound a lot alike? |

I'm pretty sure coaching issues are not the source of the Lakers' problems. They have aging stars and a team that really doesn't fit very well together, at least at the moment.
I can see them finishing somewhere between the 4th and 6th seed in the West, but they won't make any serious playoff noise.
