Default Minnesota...huh?

What's up with drafting 3 PG's It can be said that they're drafting the best on the board at the time, but unless they plan on trading away Rubio and packaging him away or something, they're going to have some problems come next season. They still have a really crowded back-court.

Any takers saying they'll draft 3 more PG's tonight?

They traded Lawson (whom I really like) to Denver in exchange for Charlotte's future #1 (top 12 protected in 2010, top 10 protected in '11, on down to unprotected in '14). Early word is that Rubio will stay in Europe for another season, which means Bassy/Flynn are the PG duo for the Wolves next year.

I don't see the point on drafting Rubio if they're not going to trade him then. He wanted to go to a bigger market team. Personally, I would loved to see him in New York.

So what does this actually mean if the pick is in the top twelve next year or top ten in 2011 then what does Minnesota get?

Or is this just a risk Minnesota is taking that they get nothing if the picks are in the top twelve or top ten respectfully.

Houston tried to get Rubio with an offer of Aaron Brooks and Shane Battier.

...and got rejected

I'm pretty sure that they would end up getting the unprotected one in 2014 (even if it was the #1 pick).

Thank you.

Why do sports leagues make rules that people could not even decipher easily?

Well there must be another Aaron Brooks because I was thinking of the Qb and thought how can that happen when I first read this.

We only have one Aaron Brooks currently on the market; a huge cog in Houston's late season run AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY, A FORMER U OF O DUCK!

...the other guy you mention...eh, Vick's cousin is delisted.
